Short and honest.
No cookies, no trackers, no ads. If you join the launch list, we keep your email address to send you two emails, and that's it.
Who we are
This website is run by MB Solveladigital, Lithuania, the developer of Muddle Ages. We decide what happens with the data described here (we are its "controller" under the GDPR). Questions about privacy: hello@muddleages.com.
The launch list
If you put your email address into the "Notify me" form, we store:
- your email address,
- the language of the page you used, so we can write to you in it,
- the date and time you signed up, and the wording of the form you agreed to.
We use it for exactly two emails: one when the Steam page of Muddle Ages opens and one when the game launches. After the launch email we delete the list. We never sell or share your address, and the emails carry no tracking pixels.
The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it any time: use the unsubscribe link in the email, or write to hello@muddleages.com, and we delete your address.
The list is stored on our own server, rented from Hostinger. To send the two emails we may use an email delivery service; it would process your address only to deliver our emails, on our instructions.
What this site does not do
- No cookies of any kind, so there's no cookie banner either.
- No analytics or tracking scripts (no Google Analytics, no pixels, no fingerprinting).
- No accounts and no forms other than the launch list.
- No embedded third-party content: the fonts, pictures, videos, 3D models and sounds all come from this website itself, so your browser doesn't contact anyone else while you're here.
Server logs and visitor numbers
Like every website, this one runs on a web server that keeps standard technical logs: your IP address, the time, the page asked for, the page you came from and your browser type. We keep them for 14 days, for security and to keep the site running (our legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
From these logs we count visitors: how many pages were viewed, which sites sent visitors here and which browsers they use. IP addresses are shortened before anything is counted, so the numbers contain no personal data. They are only for us, and nothing is added to the pages to collect them.
What your browser keeps
If you switch the music on, your browser remembers that choice on your own device (in its local storage) so the music stays on next time. It never leaves your device and we can't see it. Clear your browser's site data to remove it.
If you email us
If you write to hello@muddleages.com, we use your email address and message only to reply to you, and we don't share them with anyone. Ask us any time to delete your emails and we will.
Links to other sites
Links to Steam, Discord, YouTube and other services take you to their sites, where their own privacy policies apply.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, withdraw your consent and object to processing: write to hello@muddleages.com. You can also complain to the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (vdai.lrv.lt) or the data protection authority where you live.
